THE FATHER'S VOICE

  "You Asked For It,

   Well, Here It Is!"

Exodus 16:4 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you.  And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not. (NKJV)

If you have been talking to the Lord, then this Word is for you!  God said, 'You asked for it, well, here it is!"  He is getting ready to rain bread from heaven for you.  God wants you to talk to Him.  Ask Him for anything! If you don't ask for it, the answer is no.  But you can change the no to a yes if you only ask.   Whatever you desire from the Lord, He is able to deliver it to you.  Sometimes we tend to blame others for why we do not have what we want.  But No!  It's not someone else's fault why you don't have your desires.  The children of Israel blamed Moses when they didn't get what they wanted. They began to murmur and complain against Moses.  But God told Moses that He would rain down bread from heaven for everyone.  God can handle your desire! But you must first have one. You have to give God something to work with.

In order to get what you desire, you have to go get it.  It is your responsibility to go out and get what you want.  This translates into WORK! Work is necessary in the Body of Christ in order to gather what you need.

Work becomes a curse word to the Body of Christ.  We tend to shun away from work. God told the children of Israel that they needed to go out and gather the bread, but only gather a certain amount.  Sometimes we tend to try and take more than belongs to us.  God said, don't be greedy!  Only take what you can handle.

The bread fell at night.  Nighttime represents your faith. The Bible says, "For we walk by faith, not by sight."  (2 Cor 5:7) The children could not see when the bread fell or how it fell, but when they rose in the morning, their needs were met.  God provided for them while they slept.  If you are going through a nighttime experience now, you should be rejoicing!  You might not be able to see, but put your faith and trust in God and He will bring your desires to pass.  God spoke to the children of Israel, but they did not see what He spoke until much later.  There is a time lapse between the time God speaks and the time that you receive in the natural what He spoke.  You must receive in the Spirit at the moment He speaks! Whenever you ask God for something, He gives you what you ask for, but sometimes it doesn't always come in the way, shape or form that you think it should.  God sent manna from heaven for the children of Israel, but they questioned Moses about what it was. It didn't look like bread that they were accustomed to.   Receive what God has sent to you!  You asked for it, well, God said, "here it is!"
